CREATIVE DIRECTION

This was my first fully produced photoshoot that took over a month to complete, from scouting locations, hiring a photographer, curating props and wardrobe, set design, to doing hair and makeup to showcase my latest jewelry creations and to create a visual narrative story about a siren working a 9 to 5 whos only dream is to get back to the ocean.

I wanted it to feel like an actually office I would have if I stopped being an artist and worked a corporate job. I included scans of my siren bra, art I have made and shells that I found from Hawaii and Europe. For me I feel most alive when I am in the water or creating my art, so I wanted to display what it would be like in another universe if I gave it all up and gave into pressures and socielital norms about what it means to be productive and make money in corporate America.
