Inspired by the navigation of relationship trauma and new romantic encounters, this work explores themes of mistrust and emotional uncertainty. It reflects the difficulty of believing in others’ sincerity, the persistent feeling that connection may be performative, fleeting, or illusory.
At its core, the piece examines the tension between the desire for genuine intimacy and the fear that it may not truly exist, positioning love as both a longing and a question.
